Semi synthetic Coolants
SS 3000

SS 3000 is a general purpose semi-synthetic coolant formulated for machining performance, cleanliness, and rust protection. SS 3000 has extreme pressure additives to provide extra tool life during heavier cuts on challenging alloys. Cleanliness is built around good wash off and wetting characteristics. Rust prevention is based upon a light continuous film and provides for indoor handling protection. SS 3000 is formulated for enhanced sump life in a wide variety of metalworking conditions. SS 3000 exhibits low foaming qualities, even in high agitation conditions.

SS 3200

SS 3200 is a high lubricity metalworking fluid. It contains a special blend of extreme pressure additives and high lubricity esters to aid in machining performance. It is formulated to leave a lubricative film on metal surfaces. This film prevents metal-to-metal contact, allowing for a more heavy-duty work capacity. SS 3200 is used to machine ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This product has biostatic properties, which lead to a longer sump life. SS 3200 is also suitable for, stamping, broaching, rolling, and other heavy-duty work. SS 3200 has a synergistic cleanability with alkaline-based cleaners. SS 3200 does not contain active sulfur or chlorine, and will not cause staining on copper, aluminum, or brass. The premium corrosion protection package of SS 3200 is robust, providing a powerful layer of protection even when used at low concentrations. Depending on the application and the level of environmental wear on the fluid, concentrations should be kept between 5 - 10% and may be raised in special circumstances. When a system is maintained properly, overall product performance is superior to that of other semi-synthetic and synthetic products.

Synthetic Coolants
SYN 312

SYN 312 is a synthetic metalworking coolant designed for a variety of machining operations. It is formulated for cleanliness, long sump life, rust inhibition, and extra lubricity. SYN 312 rejects tramp oil which promotes system cleanliness and biostability. Lubricity additives promote smooth surface finish, improved tool life, and greater metal removal rates. Typical dilution ratios range from 5%-10% for grinding and general purpose work and 10%-15% for heavier work, including drilling and tapping.

SYN 428

SYN 428 is a general-purpose synthetic coolant formulated to perform a variety of grinding and machining operations. It is especially suited to high agitation applications because of its low foaming nature. Typical dilution ratios range from 5% to 10%. Tough jobs may require a slightly higher concentration. SYN 428 has built in rust inhibition and is mild to the operator's skin.

SYN 442 HD

SYN 442 HD is a synthetic, high lubricity metalworking fluid. It contains a special blend of extreme pressure additives and high lubricity esters. It is formulated to leave a lubricative film on metal surfaces. This film prevents metal to metal contact which allows heavy duty work to be performed. SYN 442 HD is suitable for drawing, stamping, broaching, and other heavy-duty work. It may be used as is, or diluted with water. SYN 442 HD cleans easily with alkaline water-based cleaners. SYN 442 HD contains active sulfur and may cause staining on copper or brass.

SYN 443 HD

SYN 443 HD is a premium synthetic metalworking fluid engineered for the most demanding industrial applications. Its proprietary formulation combines extreme pressure (EP) additives with high-lubricity esters to deliver unmatched performance under heavy loads. Free of chlorinated compounds, SYN 443 HD provides an environmentally responsible solution without compromising strength or reliability. SYN 443 HD forms a durable protective film that ensures superior lubrication, reducing wear and improve surface finish. Its robust chemistry supports extended tool life, even in high-pressure operations with less downtime. Highly versatile, it performs across a wide range of heavy-duty processes including drawing, stamping, and broaching. SYN 443 HD is easy to maintain, cleaning readily with alkaline water-based cleaners. The chlorine-free formulation offers extreme-duty performance while supporting eco-friendly manufacturing practices. SYN 443 HD contains active sulfur. It is not recommended for use on copper, brass, or other non-ferrous metals sensitive to sulfur due to potential staining.

SYN 4300

SYN 4300 is a synthetic coolant designed for a wide variety of metalworking operations. Non-staining properties make it suitable for use with multiple metals, including copper and aluminum. SYN 4300 has built-in lubricity for handling, drilling and tapping applications. Special corrosion inhibitors provide for in-process rust protection. As an oil rejecting coolant, SYN 4300 runs clean and resists biological attack. It is typically non-irritating to machine operators. For most standard machining operations, SYN 4300 is used in dilutions of 6% - 12%. SYN 4300 is a low foaming coolant suitable for many high agitation applications. Residual protective films are easily removed using surfactant or mild alkaline cleaners.

SYN 4400

SYN 4400 is a low pH synthetic fluid designed for monocrystalline silicon and silicon carbide grinding. Innovative lubricants promote a superior finish and enhance tool or wheel life. It is formulated to provide corrosion protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, equipment and machinery. SYN 4400 has a long sump life and can resists biological and fungal growth.

SYN 4450

SYN 4450 is a low pH synthetic fluid formulated for ferrous, non-ferrous metals and technical ceramics. It is designed to provide exceptional lubricity and promote a superior finishing and long tool / wheel life. Special chemistry provides corrosion and multi-metal protection and discourages biological growth.

Soluble Coolants
DC 1480

DC 1480 is a heavy-duty emulsifiable drawing compound formulated for lubrication of heavy-duty drawing, forming, and blanking operations. It is a complex chemical combination of highly refined petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated additives, fatty esters, non-ionic emulsifiers, and rust inhibitors. DC 1480 may be used “as is” or diluted with water. The superior lubrication in DC 1480 helps relieve intense pressures, reduces temperatures, and permits a controlled flow of metal, resulting in increased production, less scrap, and reduced wear on the dye. Stable emulsions can be made in dilutions from 20:1 to 5:1, water to coolant ratio. DC 1480 has been formulated for easy cleaning with a mild alkaline cleaner.
